At Local Ketch, we celebrate the Chesapeake and Virginia’s Eastern Shore through exceptional seafood, genuine hospitality and a sense of place.

Our menu brings together local oysters and clams, fresh fish, an inspired raw bar, sushi and a thoughtful kitchen. It is rooted in what comes from the waters and shores around us, with a fresh point of view.

We believe great dining can be sophisticated without being formal. The food is beautifully prepared, the drinks are well made, the room is lively and the welcome is always warm.

We’re proud to support the watermen, growers and producers who define this remarkable place, while creating something distinctly our own.

Our story begins at the water’s edge: Rehoboth Beach, where Penny grew up; the Outer Banks, where Derrick’s roots run deep; and Cape Charles, where it all comes together.

After decades in restaurants, we still believe the details matter. From the fish we choose to the way we welcome you, everything should be handled with care.
